Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami is the National Representational Organization working towards the betterment of Inuit people in Canada. Through research, advocacy, public outreach, and education, they strive to improve the health and wellbeing of Inuit communities. Representing 65,000 Inuit across Canada, most of whom reside in Inuit Nunangat, their ancestral homeland, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami produces advice, knowledge, strategies, action plans, policy tools, and learning resources to protect and advance the rights and interests of Inuit people.

They address various social and economic challenges faced by their communities, such as education, health, poverty, and housing, through research, political advocacy, and public outreach.
