Janyne McConnaughey is an award-winning author, trauma-informed advocate, and Ph. D. Having personally lived with the effects of childhood sexual abuse for most of her life, Janyne understands firsthand the journey to recovery.

Through her three memoirs, she shares her own experiences and provides insight into the effects of trauma and the paths to healing. Her most recent publication, Trauma in the Pews: The Impact of Trauma on Faith and Spiritual Practices, delves into the intersection of trauma and spirituality. Janyne also brings her extensive background in education and early childhood development to her work as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Tabor College and her service on the Board of the Attachment & Trauma Network.
