Description

The Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island (JCCGCI) is a community-based organization that provides supportive human and social services to all segments of the population. Established in 1973, JCCGCI has grown to become a highly-acclaimed multi-service social service agency in New York City. With a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers, JCCGCI aims to provide substantive relief to individuals and families in need and create real change in the communities they serve.


They offer a wide array of services, including senior support systems, vocational support systems, education support systems, and community support systems. From providing senior care and transportation services to offering adult literacy programs and vocational training, JCCGCI caters to the diverse needs and aspirations of the communities they serve. With 35 program sites and almost 350 social service professionals, JCCGCI assists an average of 2,500 individuals and families daily.
