The Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment, founded by the Hon. Dr. Jean Augustine in 2014, aims to provide a nurturing space for girls and young women to thrive and reach their full potential.

Located in Etobicoke-Lakeshore, Ontario, Canada, the center offers both in-person and online programs for girls across the country. Their mission is to build the self-esteem and self-worth of young women and girls by positively influencing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them empower themselves. Their vision is to enrich the lives of girls aged 7 to 17 through mentorship, empowerment programs, and civic engagement, with a strong focus on personal development and experiential learning.

The center believes in the power of empowerment, mentorship, leadership, and civic engagement to shape the lives of young women. They provide opportunities for girls to acquire the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary for a high quality of life, while also instilling the importance of giving back and building thriving communities.
