The Joplin Family Y, founded in 1891, is a member-supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community of Joplin, MO, and the surrounding area. Grounded in Christian principles, our mission is to provide an environment and activities that enable all people to achieve their full potential through the development of spirit, mind, and body. At the Joplin Family Y, we offer a wide range of products and services to support the well-being of our community.

Our full-service fitness facility features state-of-the-art equipment and offers nutritional counseling, personal training, and over 90 group exercise classes per week. We take pride in being the largest provider of childcare in the area, offering afterschool care and day camp services for children aged 5 to 12. Our Y believes in three focus areas: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

By empowering young people, improving well-being, and providing support to our communities, we strive to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. With over 7,000 members and numerous community outreach programs, the Joplin Family Y is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve
