Journey School of Dripping Springs is a unique and innovative educational institution that offers a refreshing approach to learning. Founded in 2016, our school aims to create an environment where children can thrive and explore their natural curiosity. Unlike traditional preschools, our school in Dripping Springs, Texas, prioritizes outdoor learning, with large outdoor spaces designed to inspire children.

From sunflower houses to vegetable gardens that double as outdoor classrooms, our campus offers a world of possibilities for young learners. Our school was born out of a passion for helping children and families. The founders, Christa and Jim Niven, have extensive experience working with at-risk youth and fostering children in need.

Their dedication to creating a nurturing and inspiring environment is evident in every aspect of our school. Since its humble beginnings, Journey School of Dripping Springs has grown rapidly, adding new buildings and expanding its enrollment to accommodate over 200 children. Our unique and farm-like campus, complete with pigs, rabbits, and sprawling gardens, truly reflects the spirit of Dripping Springs.

In addition to our Texas location, we are excited to announce that Journey School is expanding to other states and even internationally. Our newest addition in Josefina, near Tamarindo, Costa Rica, is a testament to our commitment to academic excellence and fostering kindness, empathy, and compassion.
