About

Description

Jukebox Memories is a brand dedicated to enhancing the lives of elderly individuals in nursing homes through the power of music. Founded by Dale Lazar in Pittsburgh, PA, the project began when Dale witnessed the impact a jukebox had on his parents who were residing in a nursing home. Inspired by this, he established the Jukebox Memories Project in 2011.

The aim of the project is to provide CD jukeboxes, filled with classic oldies from the 40s to the 70s, to nursing homes across the United States. By donating these jukeboxes, the project aims to stimulate memories and improve the quality of life for people living with dementia. The response to the jukebox donations has been overwhelmingly positive, fostering new friendships, increasing sociability, and transforming the atmosphere in nursing homes.

The project's mission is to provide 100 jukeboxes over a span of three years. If you want to make a difference and contribute to this valuable cause, reach out to Dale Lazar, the founder, to learn how you can get involved. Music has the power to create lasting memories, and through the Jukebox Memories Project, you can help bring joy and connection to elderly individuals in nursing homes
