KickCancer Foundation is a public interest foundation dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families. It all started when a Belgian family faced the devastating news that one of their children had cancer. Through their journey of treatments and relapses, they realized that the innovations in cancer research were primarily focused on adults, leaving children with limited options.

Motivated to make a difference, they founded KickCancer. The foundation works closely with the Friends of the KickCancer Foundation Fund, a research fund managed by the King Baudouin Foundation. KickCancer aims to ensure that all children with cancer are not only cured but better cured.

They achieve this by supporting scientific research, removing obstacles, and connecting people. The founders of KickCancer, Delphine Heenen, Gilles Dal, Jean-Charles van den Branden, and Marc Dal, are all passionate individuals who have been personally affected by childhood cancer. Alongside them, a dedicated team including Céline Ghins, Hélène d’Udekem, Deborah Janssens, Christophe De Vusser, Frédéric Rouvez, Jo Van Biesbroeck, and An Winters work tirelessly to advance the mission of KickCancer.
