Kino Świat is a leading film distributor in Poland, operating across various distribution channels including cinemas, DVD/Blu-ray, Video on Demand (VOD), and television. In addition to distribution, Kino Świat is also involved in the production and co-production of Polish and international films. In November 2019, CANAL+ Polska S. A.

In 2021, CANAL+ Polska finalized the acquisition of an additional 16% stake in Kino Świat, increasing its majority ownership to 86%. The remaining minority stake is held by the previous owners, Tomasz Karczewski and Marcin Piasecki. The current management board of Kino Świat consists of Urszula Piasecka as the President of the Company, Marta Pałucka as the Vice President, and Tomasz Karczewski and Marcin Piasecki as Board Members. The board is complemented by a five-member Supervisory Board.

Despite the challenges brought by the pandemic in 2020, Kino Świat remained resilient in its mission to bring quality films to audiences of all platforms.
