The Lars Windhorst Foundation is committed to empowering disadvantaged young people, providing them with experiences and opportunities that help them reach their full potential. The Foundation believes that to achieve this, young people should be exposed to a range of enriching experiences and opportunities, including academic education, business and enterprise, sports, art and culture, and more. The Foundation focuses on four core themes: education, enterprise and development, the arts and culture, and healthcare.

It provides both single and multi-year grants to charities, social enterprises, and other organizations. The Foundation also partners with charities to bring its own initiatives and projects to life. With an open mind about future projects, the Foundation believes that solutions to challenges often come from diverse and unexpected places.
