Inspired by blind entrepreneur Matthew Shifrin, these innovative building instructions aim to help children with limited sight to build and learn through play using LEGO bricks. Matthew's personal experience and his dedicated friend Lilya led to the creation of LEGO instructions in Braille, allowing him to build sets independently.

Now, through AI technology and the collaboration with the Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence, the LEGO Group has developed software that translates visual instructions into text-based descriptions for Braille and voice-commanded instructions.
