Life After Fifty (LAF) is a charitable, non-profit organization and an Active Living Centre that caters to adults aged fifty and over. With two locations in the City of Windsor, LAF offers a wide range of recreational programs and support services. The West Side Centre (WSC) is conveniently situated on McEwan Avenue, while the East Side Centre (ESC) resides inside The WFCU Centre on McHugh Street.

Both locations prioritize accessibility, offering features such as street-level access, free parking, proximity to public transportation, and bike racks. LAF has been a consistent source of programming in the community since 1962, encompassing three core categories: Health and Wellness (Be fit!), Skills Development and Hobbies (Be well!), and Personal Connections (Be social!). Membership is available for just $10 per month (or $120 per year) and grants individuals access to all of their programs.

Non-members are also welcome to visit the LAF Cafe at the West Side Centre. Aside from recreational programs, LAF also provides vital Support Services to combat social isolation and promote independent living, including friendly visiting, telephone assurance, foot care, and home maintenance support. In line with their vision of leading the way to vibrant and healthy lives, LAF strives to meet the evolving needs of older adults in the community while remaining accessible, relevant, and beneficial.
