Our primary goal is to educate, mobilize people, and build partnerships to support the communities we work with, enabling them to move towards a fairer and more resilient future. Established in 1992 in Queensland, Australia, Live & Learn has expanded its reach by establishing offices across the Asia-Pacific region. Our programs are funded through collaboration with governments, the private sector, and international development agencies. At Live & Learn, we prioritize local ownership of environmental and development programs, open participation, and equality.

We work hand in hand with communities to design, implement, and learn from community-based development projects tailored to each location. Our key areas of focus include encouraging ethical and sustainable attitudes, building networks and partnerships, sharing knowledge and resources, integrating scientific learning with indigenous knowledge, and promoting human rights, gender equality, nature-based solutions, climate adaptation, and peace across all our projects.
