Living Arts is a 501(c)3 Detroit nonprofit that specializes in providing performing, visual, and media arts experiences to children in Southwest Detroit. Through their comprehensive programs, Living Arts ignites creativity in the lives of Detroit youth. Their core programming includes early childhood education, K-12 arts education, and after-school arts education.

As the Detroit Affiliate of the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, Living Arts brings arts education and integration to Early Childhood Centers, pre-school classes, and local communities for children ages 3 months to 5 years and their families. They also provide arts-integrated education to Detroit public K-12 and local charter schools through their Teaching Artists. Additionally, Living Arts offers a diverse range of after-school classes and workshops in dance, visual art, video animation, production, digital music, and open studios for teens.

They make their programming accessible to all by offering discounts and scholarships for those who need financial assistance. Living Arts is committed to centering their students and parents/caregivers, allowing them to lead and influence their programs. They also have a Teen Council and Parent Council to ensure that specific needs and concerns are addressed.
