Lambda Tau Omega is a brand committed to making a positive impact within the community. As the 21st president of the Lambda Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, I am honored to lead a group of dedicated women who are passionate about service and leadership. Our chapter was established in February 1978 with the mission to support and strengthen the Far South Suburban Chicago communities.

With over 280 members from diverse professional backgrounds, we have implemented various programs, assisted community organizations, and awarded scholarships to graduating seniors for the past 44 years. Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, our organization focuses on six initiatives: Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift Our Local Community. We also offer a signature program called Soaring Scholars, which guides students through the College Admissions Process.
