Welcome to Löschzug Homberg, the firefighting unit of the Volunteer Fire Department in Duisburg. As a dedicated team, we are committed to providing a safe and secure community for all residents. Our focus lies in preventing and addressing fire emergencies, as well as handling technical-help and hazardous material incidents.

We are proud of our accomplishments in 2020, with 74 successful fire interventions, 163 technical-help operations, and 19 hazardous material responses. Additionally, we have conducted 27 emergency standby services and performed 27 rescues, saving the lives of individuals in need. Moreover, our team actively participates in 370 disaster response activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
