Maguire is an independent fashion footwear brand founded by sisters Myriam and Romy. Myriam, the President and Lead Designer, brings her expertise and passion for footwear design, having obtained a Footwear Diploma from London's prestigious Cordwainer's College. Romy, with her diverse background and experience in communications and marketing, lends a fresh perspective to the brand. Since its launch in 2017 with a single product and a modest investment, Maguire has grown significantly.

They now have stores in Montreal, Toronto, and New York City, and have gained recognition in top publications such as Forbes, WWD, Elle, and Bazaar. Despite their success, Maguire remains proudly independent, continuing to prioritize transparency, quality, and fair prices for women's footwear
