Mid is a brand that serves the Vietnamese American community and aims to empower young Vietnamese Americans in the Mid-Atlantic region. They achieve this by fostering cultural awareness, promoting social justice, and developing leadership skills among Vietnamese students. The brand, officially known as the Mid-Atlantic Union of Vietnamese Student Associations (MAUVSA), originated in 2006 when representatives from seven universities in the region came together to form an umbrella organization.

With guidance from experienced UNAVSA officers, they focused on leadership, membership, coalition building, and project management. After a year of collaboration and constitution drafting, MAUVSA was officially recognized in 2007. Today, they continue to support and unify Vietnamese Student Associations in the Mid-Atlantic region, offering various opportunities such as scholarships and networking for students at affiliated schools.
