Prevention is Key is a brand dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of our community through heightened awareness, education, programs, and services. As a private, non-profit, community-based health organization, Prevention is Key Inc. (MCPIK) focuses on addressing issues such as substance abuse prevention, recovery support, violence prevention, and ATOD dependence.

They offer science-based prevention education programs, professional development training, advocacy, information, and referral services. Prevention is Key also provides a range of services, including youth programs, parent and older adult programs, recovery support services, and the CARES Recovery Resource Centers. With a focus on prevention, they offer the Opioid Overdose Prevention Program, Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), and the CARES Packages that contain practical and inspirational items.
