Monadnock Family Services is a nonprofit Community Mental Health Center that has been serving Cheshire County and surrounding areas for over 100 years. Their mission is to be a source of health and hope for individuals and communities. They provide a wide range of services to foster mental and emotional wellness for people of all ages.

Monadnock Family Services offers specialized programs for children and families, adults and older adults, and an adult day program. They also provide special services, including parent education, youth development, family support, elder care, veterans services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, and individual and group treatment and recovery support for individuals and families struggling with mental illness. The agency offers psychiatric services, case management, supported employment, assertive community treatment, and community-based rehabilitation services for eligible adults.

Almost all adults served by Monadnock Family Services have either Severe Mental Illness (SMI) or Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), while children and teens are designated as having Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) or SED with Inter-Agency Involvement (SED-IA). The agency prides itself on offering services accomplished in the community, with 48% of all clinical services rendered done so outside of a traditional office setting. With a dedicated team of almost 200 members, Monadnock Family Services is committed to providing essential mental health services and support to their community.
