Medicinska Föreningen (MF) is one of Lund's oldest student associations, founded in 1894 with the goal of fostering a closer bond among students within the Faculty of Medicine. Today, the association serves two crucial roles: monitoring the quality of education and providing a vibrant social environment. MF works diligently to ensure that educational programs maintain the highest standards possible.

Additionally, the association organizes various social activities, offering members an exciting and enriching student life experience. Medicinska Föreningen welcomes students from the medical program, biomedical programs, audiology, speech therapy, and public health master's programs. With programs divided between Lund and Malmö, the association operates in both cities.

Most of the social activities occur at Locus Medicus Lundensis, a historic villa on Tunavägen 5, generously donated by Holger Crafoord. In Malmö, the activities are centered around Locus Medicus Malmoensis, an enchanting converted church chapel. The association functions through the elected General Council, which represents members' interests and convenes monthly to make key decisions.

Day-to-day operations are overseen by the Board, responsible for managing activities and implementing the association's vision. MF also offers numerous opportunities for students to get involved through committee positions and education councils. These roles allow individuals to contribute to the vibrant student community and influence their educational experience.
