Mijodan A/S is a leading environmental and logistics group specializing in recycling and waste management solutions. Recently, the company signed an agreement to sell its subsidiary, Reconor, to Basalt Infrastructure Partners, an infrastructure fund. This strategic move allows Reconor to continue its strong growth journey both within and outside Denmark under the new ownership.

Over the years, Mijodan A/S has successfully transformed Reconor from a regional logistics and treatment facility operator to a state-of-the-art logistics and resource solutions provider with national coverage. The company has expanded its operations throughout Denmark, adding five new recycling and cleansing facilities, diversifying into soil disposal, and even catering to customers beyond Denmark's borders. This expansion was made possible through six strategic acquisitions and now, with the support of Basalt, Reconor is poised to continue its growth in Denmark and explore opportunities in new European markets.

Through their innovative and future-proof solutions, Reconor aims to meet the increasing demand for responsible and sustainable waste management. With a strong focus on meeting national standards for environmental compliance, Reconor assists customers in reducing waste production through prevention, reduction, and material reuse, all while minimizing the use of natural resources. This achievement is the result of close collaboration among the various units within the organization and the dedication of over 600 motivated employees.
