Miracle League at Cypress Mounds in Baton Rouge, LA is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to providing children with disabilities and special needs the opportunity to play baseball. Located within the Traction Sportsplex, Miracle League players can feel connected to the larger youth baseball culture while enjoying a safe and inclusive environment. The Miracle League field features a solid rubberized surface with painted bases, eliminating obstacles and tripping hazards.

It is equipped with all the amenities of a traditional field, including dugouts, equipment racks, foul poles, and warning tracks. Each player is assigned to a team and provided with uniform jerseys and hats for every game. Volunteer Coaches are on hand to guide and teach the players to the best of their abilities, while Buddies are assigned to provide assistance and support throughout the entire season.

Lasting friendships have been formed between players and their buddies. The games are non-competitive, with every player given the opportunity to bat and get a hit. Announcers add to the excitement by calling out players' names over the sound system.
