MNLCT is a community-based settlement agency that provides a place of welcome, friendship, and support for newcomers and neighbors in Toronto. With a mission to facilitate newcomer settlement and integration, MNLCT offers holistic services and community engagement within a gender justice and anti-oppression framework. Committed to building a more just and compassionate society, MNLCT offers a range of programs and services to meet the diverse needs and aspirations of refugees and immigrants.

These include language instruction, settlement support, employment mentoring, mental health counseling, and civic engagement opportunities. Founded in 1983, MNLCT has a rich history rooted in the Mennonite tradition of peace, service, and compassion. Inspired by their own experiences of forced migration and persecution, Mennonites have a strong concern for immigrants and refugees, making MNLCT a place of healing and reconciliation.

At MNLCT, newcomers are empowered to express their own values, dreams, and aspirations while receiving practical support and resources to successfully integrate into Canadian life.
