Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, located in Aurora IL, is a pioneering food pantry dedicated to providing basic life necessities to households in need. Founded in 1957, our pantry has been serving the community for over six decades. Our mission is to relieve hunger and nourish lives, particularly among children, seniors, low-income residents, and individuals with disabilities.

At Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, we understand that many of our guests, although employed, struggle to make ends meet. Our goal is to ensure that every individual is accepted, respected, and treated with dignity. Inspired by Marie Wilkinson herself, a social and civil rights activist, our food pantry was established after her personal commitment to helping the less fortunate.

What started as giving out bags of food from her bungalow on View Street has now expanded into a thriving soup kitchen and food pantry. We collaborate with various community organizations and partners to promote self-sustainability and alleviate hunger in Aurora and the surrounding areas.
