About

Description

UNA, or the University Neighbourhoods Association, is the governing body responsible for overseeing the major residential neighbourhoods around UBC's campus. Their primary focus is on managing infrastructure, such as street and sidewalk repairs, as well as regulating matters of concern in the public realm, including parking and noise. The UNA Board of Directors, consisting of resident-elected, UBC-appointed, and AMS-appointed members, manages the organization's activities and internal affairs.

One of the additional services they provide is ensuring that residents have access to UBC athletic facilities. They also manage two community centers, the Wesbrook Community Centre and the Old Barn Community Centre. With a commitment to advocating for residents' best interests, the UNA continues to evolve with the communities it represents and plays a vital role in land use and development on the UBC campus.
