Yocum, Psy. D., the publication originally focused on Massachusetts psychologists. However, it expanded its distribution to include all licensed psychologists in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont in 2002.

The dedicated team at Nepsy is committed to providing open and impartial news and information for practicing psychologists. Their content covers a wide range of topics, including both clinical and business issues that impact the field. Additionally, Nepsy publishes an annual residential school directory, listing therapeutic residential schools in New England.

In 2017, John M. Grohol, Psy. D., acquired New England Psychologist, and it is now published by his company, Liviant.

Celebrating 30 years of publication, New England Psychologist transitioned to a new full-color, magazine format in 2022. Nepsy offers both print and digital subscription options, allowing readers to access their valuable content in the format of their choice
