The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), established over 45 years ago, is the largest anti-hunger organization in New Jersey. As a member of Feeding America®, CFBNJ is dedicated to fighting hunger and poverty in the state. Starting as a small initiative in 1975, CFBNJ has grown into a nonprofit with two large warehouse facilities, spanning the size of five football fields combined, located in Hillside and Egg Harbor Township.

These facilities support over 800 programs and community partners across 15 out of the 21 counties in New Jersey. CFBNJ carries out its mission by packaging food orders for local soup kitchens and food pantries, as well as purchasing and collecting food. They provide food and nutrition programs, hygiene programs, and job training opportunities.

Additionally, CFBNJ offers assistance for individuals to apply for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. The organization also shares real stories to raise awareness and encourage community engagement.
