About

Description

The New Jersey Tree Foundation is dedicated to greening New Jersey, one tree at a time. Through their various programs, they empower communities to improve air and water quality, enhance their environment, and strengthen community pride. The Urban Airshed Reforestation Program, which began in Camden in 2002 and is expanding to other South Jersey cities, plants street trees with the help of over 15,034 volunteers.

This program is designed to improve air and water quality while empowering residents to become community leaders. The Renaissance Trees Program, launched in Newark in 2006, focuses on community-based reforestation efforts. By planting over 2,200 trees and fostering stewardship, Newark residents are enhancing their environment and improving their quality of life.

The Green Streets Program offers affordable landscaping and tree services in most New Jersey towns. Their bonded and insured staff is thoroughly trained, ensuring quality work while using the proceeds to plant trees across New Jersey. Additionally, the New Jersey Tree Foundation manages NJ's Living Memorial, a beautiful 10.

8 acre living memorial in Liberty State Park that honors the NJ victims of 9/11. They also conduct TreeKeepers workshops in Camden and Newark, providing educational sessions on tree care and creating local tree stewards. Support the New Jersey Tree Foundation today and join their mission to create a greener and more sustainable future
