Nourish NS is a registered charity established in 2012, dedicated to creating healthy food environments for children and youth in Nova Scotia. Their mission is to inspire every child to eat, enjoy, and value food that fuels healthier people and a healthier environment. They believe that empowering children and youth with knowledge and skills about food and where it comes from creates champions who demand better for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Nourish offers a variety of programs and initiatives, including Nourish Your Roots and food literacy in the classroom. These programs aim to cultivate generations of healthy eaters by promoting and supporting food and nutrition programs in partnership with communities and schools. With values of integrity, creativity, respect, collaboration, support for local communities, and excellence, Nourish envisions a Nova Scotia where all children and youth are well nourished to live, learn, and play.
