The Ocean Acidification Information Exchange is an online community dedicated to professionals interested in ocean and coastal acidification (OCA). Our mission is to create a trusted online environment where members can ask, answer, and learn from each other, regardless of their background. Unlike traditional informational websites, we focus on interaction and collaboration.

Our interactive teams use collaboration tools to address specific OCA topics, share resources, and engage in discussions to enhance stakeholder interactions. By promoting the exchange of information across disciplines and regions, we aim to develop more effective response strategies and share valuable lessons learned. The Interagency Working Group on Ocean Acidification, mandated by the FOARAM Act of 2009, operates this platform, with support from NOAA and BOEM.
