As a network of churches, CityChurch brings together smaller churches in Ames and Des Moines, following the Antioch church prototype found in the book of Acts. Each church within the network meets on Sunday evenings for a meaningful time of fellowship, teaching, and preaching in homes.

Under the leadership and shepherding of appointed elders, these churches are united in their mission to serve the progress of the gospel in the local communities. CityChurch also partners with BILD International, utilizing its complex apostolic network to further their vision. Their goal is to expand the CityChurch across the greater Ames-Des Moines area, establishing churches in surrounding communities.
