O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation is a charitable organization that aims to improve the quality of life for under-served individuals. Founded in 2001 by Dr. (Mrs.) Seinye O.B. Lulu-Briggs in honor of her late husband, High Chief (Dr.) O.B. Lulu-Briggs, the foundation is committed to continuing his legacy of giving and philanthropy. The foundation carries out sustainable interventions in five key areas: Care for Life, Free Medical Missions, Access to Clean Water and Sanitation, Education and Scholarships, and Micro-credit and Entrepreneurship. These interventions have an immediate positive impact on the lives and livelihoods of those in need, particularly the most vulnerable and under-served. O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation believes in the power of partnerships and actively engages with the communities it serves. Through collaborations with individuals and corporate partners, the foundation has been able to innovate and establish best practices in its program implementation. Volunteer participation and generous donations from partners such as Moni Pulo Limited, Meridian Hospitals, and Roche Diabetic Care have further strengthened the foundation's impact. Most notably, the foundation focuses on the Niger Delta region, which faces chronic underdevelopment, environmental degradation, and conflict due to oil production. The dire living conditions in this area include limited access to healthcare, education, clean water, and sanitation. O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation strives to address these challenges and create opportunities for sustainable development in partnership with the communities it serves. With a commitment to transforming lives and livelihoods, O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation continues to make a positive impact in the Niger Delta and beyond.
