Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) is a private, nonprofit human service agency dedicated to empowering people, supporting communities, and changing lives. With over 50 programs, OCO serves approximately 15,000 individuals annually. The agency offers a wide range of services, including assistance for the homeless, education services for children, youth, and adults, reproductive health care for women and men, and support for individuals with disabilities.

OCO also provides meals for the elderly, disabled, and youth, as well as safety for those experiencing abuse, transportation services, and support for youth. As one of the largest private employers in Oswego County, OCO has about 600 employees and 1,200 volunteers. The agency is funded primarily by Federal and State dollars, as well as fee-for-service revenues and local support.

With a commitment to transparency, OCO ensures that over 90 cents of every dollar goes directly to program services. As a member agency of the United Way of Greater Oswego County and the New York State Community Action Association (NYSCAA), OCO continues to make a positive impact in the community.
