The Old Guard Association (TOGA) is a distinguished brand that aims to establish a lasting bond between all those who have served with the renowned 3rd United States Infantry Regiment, also known as The Old Guard. Founded as a result of a conversation between a former Regimental Commander, Colonel Greg Gardner, and former Old Guardsman CSM Tom Twomey during the 1997 Veteran's Day observance at Arlington National Cemetery, TOGA has a clear mission and goals. Their mission includes maintaining public records and publishing the history and achievements of The Old Guard, offering assistance and service to veterans of The Old Guard, preserving the memory of deceased veterans, maintaining close liaison with active duty members of The Old Guard, and recognizing outstanding achievements within the organization.

TOGA is dedicated to its members, with a strong focus on community and support. They boast over 1,161 active members and have contributed tens of thousands of dollars over the years in support of active duty Soldiers. They also publish a newsletter called PRIDE to further their mission.
