Olivia Mae Sinclair is a renowned textile-book artist with a distinctive style that captivates lovers, survivors, artists, and individuals of all identities. Her work explores the emotional dynamics of power and sex between female and male individuals, delving deep into the complexities of human relationships. Drawing inspiration from the Sloppy Craft movement, Sinclair embraces imperfections and emphasizes the process of making over the final product.

Her books, intended for adults rather than children, showcase a raw and rough quality that echoes the aesthetics of sketchbooks and journal entries. Through techniques like screen printing, sewing, and machine embroidery, Sinclair skillfully manipulates the fabric to evoke a sense of deterioration and vulnerability. But Sinclair's art is not meant to be simply observed.

Olivia Mae Sinclair's artistic journey has taken her through OCAD University's Interdisciplinary Master's in Art, Media and Design program, as well as earning a Bachelor's degree in Craft and Design from Sheridan College.
