One Colorado

One Colorado is the leading advocacy organization in Colorado, dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Coloradans and their families. By effectively advocating for LGBTQ rights, One Colorado lobbies the General Assembly, the executive branch, and local governments on various issues including safe schools, transgender equality, relationship recognition, and LGBTQ health and human services. In addition to advocating for policy change, One Colorado also focuses on changing public opinion about LGBTQ families through public education efforts.

By telling the stories of the daily barriers LGBTQ Coloradans face, public opinion about LGBTQ families in Colorado is gradually shifting. One Colorado is affiliated with the Equality Federation and operates its sister organization, One Colorado Education Fund, which provides education programming and builds public support for LGBTQ issues. Moreover, One Colorado PAC supports fair-minded candidates who align with the organization's mission.
