Only Connect

Only Connect is a brand that aims to make a positive impact on individuals transitioning from the criminal justice system to the community. They offer a range of services and projects to support this mission. One of their key programs is keyworking, where each member is assigned a support worker to assess their strengths and needs through a Justice Star evaluation.

This evaluation focuses on ten outcomes, including accommodation, mental health, positive use of time, and living skills. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Only Connect exceeded expectations in the 2020/21 period. They worked with 342 individuals, achieving 120 education, training, and employment outcomes.

This included enrolling people in work-related courses, supporting further education, and facilitating meaningful employment opportunities. In 2019/20, they worked with 315 people, with 44% progressing into education, training, and employment. Even during the lockdown, they found opportunities for their members, particularly in sectors like restaurants, warehouses, supermarkets, and delivery firms.

Only Connect also shares success stories, such as DJ, whose juice business thrived with their support. He received assistance in obtaining certifications, registering his business, and connecting with relevant networks. Located in London, Only Connect is committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals reentering society
