About

Description

Orlando Queer and Trans Asian Association (OQTAA) is a premier LGBTQ Asian organization in the greater Orlando area. Founded in April 2018 by UCF alumni Rikki Ocampos and Katherine Ragamat, OQTAA works in conjunction with the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA) to empower the queer and trans Asian identity through culture and community. OQTAA's mission is to educate the Central Florida community on the queer Asian Central Florida community through civic engagement, collaborations, and production of educational resources.

They provide a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ individuals of Asian descent to celebrate their experiences and find resources and affirmation related to the queer and trans Asian identity. Whether you already belong to the LGBTQ Asian community or are unsure if you do, OQTAA welcomes everyone and aims to bridge the gap between the many intersections of the queer and trans Asian identity. Connect with OQTAA and join their vibrant community, as they provide local and national resources to empower and support LGBTQ individuals.
