Ozarks Literacy Council is a brand that aims to unlock the life-changing power of literacy for every willing learner. They offer various programs and services to encourage literacy throughout the Ozarks community. Their main program is one-on-one literacy tutoring, which educated 193 learners in 2018.

They also have a pre-literacy program that provides specially selected books and interactive programs for children who lack access to books at home. Additionally, Ozarks Literacy Council partners with the Springfield Community Center for their Books Come Alive program, where community professionals volunteer as readers and share information about their profession with classrooms.
