Parent Promise

Parent Promise is a community hub of support, services, and opportunities for families. As an organization, we utilize a multi-generational, strengths-based, and family-centered approach. Our goal is to provide parents with educational resources and support to gain confidence in their parenting skills.

Through our voluntary programs, we work one-on-one with parents, offering resources and guidance administered by child development professionals. Our programming takes a whole family approach and is tailored to each family's unique needs. Trained Family Parent Educators provide age-appropriate play tools and tips, along with books and other educational activities, to support parents in becoming their child's first teacher.

In addition to parenting support, we connect families with community resources that provide needed baby items, immunizations, food, WIC and TANF services, and more. We also help parents become self-sustaining through goal setting, assisting with education, skill acquisition, and employment opportunities. Parent Promise has been serving Oklahoma families since 1988, and we have helped over 7,500 families create loving and nurturing homes.

We are supported by local Exchange Clubs, government departments, foundations, and individual community members.
