Peoria Area Community Events (PACE) is a brand that has been serving the community since 1989. In the past, they collaborated with Take Pride in Peoria Commission (TPIP) and the Peoria Convention and Visitors Bureau to coordinate various events like Taste of Peoria, Mayor's Rib Bib, Steamboat Days, Brown Bag-Its, Friday Fests, and the Santa Parade. To streamline event planning, these activities were combined under PACE's umbrella.

Today, PACE continues its mission of contributing to the quality of life in the Peoria Area by involving the community in events that foster a sense of pride. The organization is run entirely by dedicated volunteers who handle planning, management, and administration. Funding for PACE's activities is generated through beverage and food sales, sponsorship contributions, admission fees, entry fees, and booth fees.

PACE coordinates a diverse range of events that provide entertainment for all ages, races, and backgrounds. From the popular Taste of Peoria to the Santa Claus Parade and Labor Day Parade & Picnic, PACE offers a variety of programs that appeal to everyone in the community.
