Description

Princeton in Latin America (PiLA) is an independent nonprofit organization founded in 2002 by passionate Princeton students, alumni, staff, and faculty. PiLA's mission is to fulfill Princeton University's motto, Princeton in the nation's service and the service of humanity, by strengthening social development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. PiLA connects partner NGOs and multilateral organizations with highly qualified recent college graduates for year-long service fellowships.

These fellows work in 20 countries throughout Latin America, collaborating on socially responsible initiatives. Since 2003, PiLA has successfully placed 350 fellows, striving to make a measurable impact on partner organizations and the communities they serve. PiLA offers opportunities for motivated individuals to contribute to meaningful causes, while gaining valuable experience and enhancing their personal growth.
