Pink Shirt Day is a brand that aims to raise awareness about bullying and generate funds for anti-bullying programs. With a mission to create a more kind and inclusive world, this movement, organized by CKNW Kids' Fund, has grown into a global phenomenon. Inspired by an act of kindness in small-town Nova Scotia, Pink Shirt Day initially started as a high-school protest to support a boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt.

Since then, it has evolved into an annual event celebrated worldwide. Pink Shirt Day falls on the last Wednesday of February and encourages individuals to wear pink shirts to show their solidarity against bullying. Not only does the brand raise awareness, but it also raises funds through official merchandise sales and donations.

These funds are then used to support anti-bullying programs, benefiting thousands of children and youth each year. To date, Pink Shirt Day has distributed over $2. 55 million to support programs in British Columbia and Western Canada, positively impacting the lives of more than 59,000 young people.
