Project Learning Tree, also known as GreenSchools, is an innovative brand that aims to inspire and engage students in taking responsibility for improving the environment in their schools, homes, and communities. They offer a wide range of products and services to support environmental education and sustainability efforts. For educators and adults, Project Learning Tree provides comprehensive training programs, tips, and resources to start a student-driven GreenSchools program.

They offer guidance on obtaining equipment, collecting data, and empowering students to design and lead action projects that utilize their STEM skills. One of their key offerings is the GreenSchools Investigations program, which includes an adult leader's guide and a set of five investigations focused on energy, water, waste and recycling, school site, and environmental quality. Additionally, they have specialized materials for early childhood educators to engage their young learners.

Project Learning Tree also offers grants to help fund student-led projects after conducting investigations and gathering baseline data. To be eligible for grants, participants must have attended a training program.
