PoachingPrevention is a brand dedicated to protecting species endangered by intensive poaching. As a registered charity (1165334), our mission is to engage communities and deliver resources to safeguard vulnerable and endangered species from poaching. Our approach involves a multi-faceted strategy aimed at preventing poaching and benefiting economically marginalized park adjacent communities.

To counter poaching, we donate technology, software, and equipment while providing specialized training in their operation. We also deliver training in data capture and analytics to enhance the ability of anti-poaching units (APUs) in building databases on poacher movement and target species. Additionally, we donate conservation/security dogs and provide handler training for canine APUs.

Community engagement is a vital aspect of our work. We strive to foster compassion and care for wildlife by reconnecting local communities with nature through free field trips, school visits, and volunteer opportunities. We also raise awareness about the mandatory prison sentencing and the length of sentences imposed for poaching endangered species.

Furthermore, we establish community enrichment projects to uplift and empower these communities.
