About
Description
Partnership for the Public Good (PPG) is a community-based think tank located in Buffalo, NY. As a reputable brand, PPG offers research and advocacy support to a wide range of partners. Every year, through a democratic process, PPG and its partners create a Community Agenda consisting of ten actionable ways for state and local government to enhance the Buffalo Niagara region.
PPG collaborates with Cornell University to host the Buffalo Commons, a digital library of research focused on Western New York, and a platform that facilitates connections and collaboration among community groups and researchers. Through the High Road Fellowships program, PPG also partners with Cornell to bring interns to Buffalo each summer. PPG is actively engaged in various collaborations such as Open Buffalo and the Crossroads Collective, and it provides staffing and support to initiatives like the Greater Buffalo Recycling Alliance and the City of Buffalo Living Wage Commission.
Additionally, PPG hosts a weekly radio show called the Public Good and organizes workshops, forums, and other events throughout the year. With major support from esteemed organizations like the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo and the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation, PPG remains committed to advancing their mission of building a more just, sustainable, and culturally vibrant Buffalo Niagara.
Donations and volunteer opportunities are available for those who want to engage with PPG and support their initiatives. For more information, visit their website or sign up for the eNewsletter
