Project Kinship is a non-profit organization based in Santa Ana, CA, that aims to provide support and training to individuals whose lives have been impacted by incarceration, gangs, and violence. Started in 2014, Project Kinship was founded by Steve Kim and Mary Vu, who dedicated their lives to creating a community-based organization. With over 70 dedicated staff members, the organization offers a safe haven and various programs for individuals on the journey of re-entry and healing. Their team includes professionals with backgrounds in mental health, social work, education, law, and even formerly incarcerated individuals.

Through hope, healing, and transformation, Project Kinship strives to empower those they serve, reminding them that they are not a mistake. With numerous partnerships and programs, they continue to expand opportunities to serve individuals on the margins, ultimately increasing community and public safety in Orange County.
