Our brand was created by designer and interior architect Heli Mäkiranta.

The journey of QUU Design began when our founder, Heli, had a secret dream of creating her own lighting collection. Unable to find the perfect fixture for a customer, she decided to design one herself inspired by the northern sky. Soon, Heli's contemporary design garnered attention from other customers, leading her to launch her own brand.

Notably, Heli has been recognized as a Visa SHE'S NEXT grant winner, receiving 10,000€ and coaching membership from IFundWomen to support the growth of QUU Design.
