Description

The Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard is a renowned institution that brings together scientists and engineers from diverse fields to study and advance our understanding of the immune system. Our ultimate goal is to harness the power of the immune system to prevent and cure human diseases. Established in 2009 through a generous donation from the Phillip T.

and Susan M. Ragon Foundation, we have been at the forefront of immunology and global infectious disease research. With a flexible funding structure, we can swiftly respond to emerging breakthroughs and target new illnesses.

Our research focuses on six priority areas: HIV/AIDS, Global Infectious Diseases, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Vaccine Development, Basic and Applied Immunology, and Clinical Studies. Additionally, our current priority is dedicated to combatting COVID-19. The strength of the Ragon Institute lies in our collaborative approach, allowing experts ranging from computational biologists to clinicians to work together seamlessly.

Our team comprises highly-motivated individuals who are pioneers in their respective fields, and our state-of-the-art facilities in Cambridge, Massachusetts support our groundbreaking research.
